We are at the end of the Majors in Part 8 of the Study group. The upcoming videos will feature an introduction to the minors, then videos discussing each suit: air, fire, water, and earth.
Questions and Journal Prompts:
Do you know the herbs featured in the two major Arcana cards and if so, do they speak to the traditional Smith/Waite card meaning? Why or why not? If not, how do you feel about that?
If you don’t know the featured herbs in these three cards, in your personal research (hint – Google these herbs), do you find it really speaks to the card’s meaning? Why or why not?
Imagery and symbols found in the cards – what pops and speaks to you? Why?
What are your personal card meanings you’ve assigned to the featured cards?
The above questions will be used as a basis for our future video study group sessions, but they may vary from time to time, depending on what comes up in our review of the cards.
Once the minors have been featured on the channel, we will then move our Tarot Study sessions to the Abundant Life Tarot Group on Facebook. There will be lives, discussion thread posts, spread show and tells, and sharing of content on how we’re incorporating the Herbcrafter’s Tarot into our reading practice.

The Latest with The Herbcrafter’s Tarot Study Group
I have recorded parts 1 through 7 of the Major Arcana of the Herbcrafter’s Tarot. Part 8 will be published next and will feature the Judgement and World cards. Once I have published part 8, I will set up a Lives or virtual meetups for those of us who are ready to discuss the Majors.
I will be recording the Herbcrafter’s Tarot’ Minor Arcana card video parts in the near future.
The purpose of the Herbcrafter’s Tarot videos and study group is to:
enhance the connection we’re forming with the deck
prepare us for the study meetup sessions we’re going to have related to this deck
help those new to the deck to get to know it better
be a reference for those who do not yet own the deck
be a reference for those who do own the deck
There will be comment threads going up in Abundant Life Tarot Group on Facebook, which will allow those who wish to discuss the deck or the videos a chance to do so before our official virtual Lives or meetups, so be sure to join the Facebook group to be a part of the conversation. Also, feel free to comment on the YouTube videos, too, as I do read the comments, as do others, and we all learn from one another when this kind of engagement is happening.
