In the realm of spiritual entrepreneurship, it’s crucial to maintain sovereignty over your business and your life. In essence, you are the King or Queen of your business and what you say, goes. Sometimes clients will place a huge amount of blind faith and turn over their power to their coaches, counselors, or readers. It feels safer for them to relinquish their decision-making to someone else, but our work as healers is to illuminate their inner wisdom so they can build confidence in navigating their challenges.
In the context of coaching or mentoring others and Tarot readings, sovereignty translates into conducting readings that empower clients and promote their self-discovery, rather than fostering dependency on the reader or the coach.
Here are a few key principles to consider when practicing sovereignty in Tarot readings:
1. Respect Client Autonomy:
🪷Recognize that clients possess the wisdom and power to make their own decisions.
🪷Encourage clients to reflect on the cards and their interpretations, rather than solely relying on the reader’s guidance.
2. Focus on Empowerment:
🪷Use Tarot readings as a tool to empower clients, helping them uncover their inner strength and potential.
🪷Avoid creating a dynamic where clients become overly dependent on the reader for answers.
3. Promote Self-Reflection:
🪷Encourage clients to engage in self-reflection and introspection.
🪷Provide insights that stimulate clients’ critical thinking and personal growth.
4. Set Clear Boundaries:
🪷Establish clear boundaries regarding the scope and nature of your readings.
🪷Communicate your limitations and avoid taking on responsibilities beyond your expertise.
5. Practice Ethical Conduct:
🪷Uphold ethical standards by maintaining confidentiality, respecting client privacy, and avoiding exploitation.
🪷Refrain from making predictions or promises that cannot be guaranteed.
🪷If you do make predictions, be sure to express that nothing is set in stone and people are subjected to free will – thus there are no absolutes that can be predicted.
6. Foster a Collaborative Relationship:
🪷Approach readings as a collaborative process, where the client actively participates in interpreting the cards.
🪷Encourage clients to share their thoughts, feelings, and experiences.
7. Support Client Growth:
🪷Aim to support clients in their personal growth journey.
🪷Provide guidance that helps clients establish their intuition and develop their own connection with the Tarot.

This book is a must-have for the professional healer, as it helps you navigate the challenges and pitfalls that come with the territory of psychic healing. There are a total of six videos and Zoom replays devoted to this very topic in our Poised to Leap Video Repository.
