Ancestors, Poised to Leap

What’s Happening at Poised to Leap

New beginnings are in the air as we march into the month of March! We will be meeting as a group for our Power Zoom meeting on Sunday, March 10, 2024. We now meet every other month for our Power Zoom meeting and it is a great time to catch up with each other and to discuss some important aspects of managing life and work in a supportive setting.

Meeting topic: Simplify Your Biz & Life | Check-In | Professional Readings | Hotlines Q&A + Share Successes

March’s Theme: Sovereignty

In the realm of spiritual entrepreneurship, it’s easy to get caught up in the hustle and bustle of running a business. But what if there was a way to simplify your spiritual-based business and reclaim your energy and your time? Are you doing tasks because “everyone else” is doing them?

What if you are feeling a heavy resistance to joining the latest social media platform – do you push through that feeling anyway? Or, do you honor where you are and resist the urge to follow the trends? There is no right or wrong answer because there are times when people are grateful they pushed through when they felt a lot of resistance. However, there is wisdom in resistance and it is always worth exploring why you feel it.

If you are a reader, you can pull a card and ask why you are feeling resistance towards a particular task. If you are a Poised to Leap member, I would be happy to pull a card for you to explore why there is resistance or to see what direction feels more aligned with what you are called to do. We can also explore what it looks like in your spiritual business or personal life to simplify and the steps to take to get there.

Why Simplify?

Simplifying your business and life can lead to several benefits, including:

▪️Reduced stress and anxiety

▪️Increased productivity

▪️More time for self-care and spiritual practices

▪️A greater sense of balance and fulfillment

How to Simplify

Here are a few tips for simplifying your spiritual-based or Tarot business:

1. Identify Your Core Offerings: What are the most important services you offer? Focus on these core offerings and let go of anything unessential.

2. Streamline Your Processes: Take a look at your current business processes and see where you can streamline them. This could involve automating tasks, hiring an assistant, or delegating tasks to others.

3. Set Boundaries: It’s important to set boundaries between your work and your personal life. This means setting specific work hours and not checking email or social media outside of those hours.

4. Take Breaks: Make sure to take regular breaks throughout the day. This will help you stay refreshed and focused. If you need a longer break, then take it. Honor the ebbs and flows of your life and recognize that breaks are essential to overall health and well-being in your personal or professional affairs.

5. Practice Self-Care: Self-care is essential for any spiritual entrepreneur. Make sure to take time for yourself each day to relax and rejuvenate. Make a list of your favorite self-care activities and calendar them so that you prioritize them in your daily and weekly schedule.

Simplifying your spiritual Tarot business can help you reclaim your energy and your time and exemplifies what it means to have sovereignty over your business and your life. By following these tips, you can create a sustainable and fulfilling business.

Working with Our Ancestors will be exploring Ancestral versus Past-Life work this week. There will be a video posted on March 5, 2024, along with exercises, prompts/spreads to work to deepen our spiritual practice surrounding those in the afterlife.

What’s Happening at Poised to Leap

February’s Monthly Reading Lab is now available for replay. Join the membership to be a part of next month’s Reading Lab and to catch up on all of the replays from the past ones we’ve done over the past two years.

KO-FI POST OF FEBRUARY READING LAB REPLAY

What to do when the cards don’t make sense? Lean into your intuition! We discuss all the ways that intuition will help you before, during, and after a reading. We practiced with three querent’s questions to just sit with the messages that came up. We learned there is a lot of information that can be gleaned with just a few cards and without having to pull clarifiers. We also discussed the lows that can come with reading on the hotlines.

February’s Poised to Leap Theme is Feedback

Another form of feedback is what we receive from our loved ones who have crossed over. Our ancestors are always with us, even if we can’t see them. They are a part of our DNA, our history, and our culture. And they have a lot to tell us if we’re willing to listen.

Much of our Working with our Ancestors series is about the feedback that we receive from our ancestors. You also have the ability to share feedback with your ancestors as well as be an intermediary between your living loved ones and those who have crossed over. It is a two-way street, even though much of what we are taught about working with ancestors is about what they can say and do for us versus through and with us.

There are many ways to listen for your ancestors’ messages. Some people hear them in their dreams, while others see them in visions or feel their presence around them.

I am clairaudient and my ancestors talk to me – full-on conversations. I suspect this was also the case for my maternal grandmother Ella Mae, as she would talk back to them aloud. I also use Bibliomancy and Cartomancy to communicate with them.

No matter how you receive their messages, it’s important to be open and receptive to them.

Here are a few tips for listening to your ancestors’ messages:

▪️ Quiet your mind. The first step to listening to your ancestors is to quiet your mind and create a space for them to speak. This can be done through meditation, prayer, or simply spending time in silence. Be consistent with a daily routine of quieting the mind, as it will make it easier for your ancestors to connect with you and for you to hear them.

▪️ Be open and receptive. When you’re listening for your ancestors’ messages, it’s important to be open and receptive to whatever they have to say. Don’t judge or dismiss their messages, even if they’re not what you expect. Let’s face it – our ancestors were once living, breathing, fallible people with hangups. Give them grace, just as they will give to you.

▪️ Trust your intuition. One of the huge benefits of working with your ancestors is the deepening of your intuitive powers that come with this work. Your intuition is a powerful tool that can help you connect with your ancestors and receive their messages. If you have a gut feeling about something, pay attention to it. It might be a message from your ancestors.

▪️ Keep a journal. I cannot emphasize this tip enough – memorialize your intuitive hits, musings, and communications with your ancestors. Make note of how they reached out to you. This is also information you can pass down to your descendants. Writing down your ancestors’ messages can help you to remember them and reflect on them later. It can also be a way to track your progress and see how your connection with your ancestors is evolving.

Listening to your ancestors’ messages can be a rewarding and enriching experience. It can help you to connect with your past, learn from your ancestors’ experiences, and make better decisions for your future. So open your heart and mind, and let your ancestors speak to you.

Do you need inspiration on wanting to feel closer to your ancestors? Here are some additional tips for listening to your ancestors’ messages:

▪️ Spend time in places where your ancestors lived. This can help you to connect with their energy and hear their messages more clearly. If the distance is too great, the internet offers a golden opportunity to virtually drop into many locations with the use of Google Maps.

▪️ Look at old photos and heirlooms. These objects can hold powerful memories and messages from your ancestors. Ask relatives to share photos with you.

▪️ Talk to your relatives about your ancestors. They may have stories or memories that can help you to learn more about them. This is a powerful way to keep your living loved ones engaged in celebrating and learning about those who have crossed over.

▪️ Read books and articles about your ancestors’ culture and history. This can help you to understand their perspectives and the challenges they faced during their lifetime.

By following these tips, you can open yourself up to the possibility of receiving messages from your ancestors. Trust your intuition, and be open to whatever they have to say. You may be surprised at the wisdom and guidance they can offer you.

Discussion/Exercise 6 will be published at the end of this week and we will be exploring the connection between ancestral and past-life work. Next month’s Poised to Leap keyword/theme will be Sovereignty.

Working with Our Ancestors Poised to Leap Membership Workshop Series

Have you been called to do ancestral work, but not sure how or where to get started? Perhaps you have worked with your ancestors, but have seemed to have reached a plateau in your ancestral work and need some inspiration? I have a Workshop series for you! Thanks to my Poised to Leap members suggesting this topic, we are now exploring this work as a group.

Poised to Leap has a lot to offer, including this ongoing series on working with our ancestors. There are at least three group meetings each month and the top tier members (Cosmic Seer and Rebel Soul) meets with me one-on-one on a monthly basis. We cover all sorts of topics, including going pro in offering readings, coaching/mentoring in accomplishing goals, and exploring different types of metaphysical topics. Most of all, I mentor in working with Oracle and Tarot.

Here is the tentative plan for our ongoing workshop series on Working with Our Ancestors.

I will be creating blog posts, videos, and hosting periodic check-in Zoom meetings for those who are exploring the wide world of working with our Ancestors. I may choose to use a good portion of some of our Open Office Hours to check in to see how you all are doing. The lowest tier, Stargazer, will have replays of our group meetings available. Stargazers are able to participate in the monthly Reading Labs, but if you’d like to join in on the other two Zoom meetings, sign up at the Moon Dancer levels.

I rarely mention or “sale” my program because I trust in the Divine connecting me with likeminded souls called to work with me. Are you a likeminded soul ready to work together with me in a more intimate way? Join the Poised to Leap membership.

We are forming a supportive environment where we learn and grow together in Poised to Leap. I spend a lot of time crafting content that is supportive to each of my members unique goals and needs. I am very hands on and you will be able to ask me questions through direct message on Ko-fi once you’ve signed up.

Whether you are wanting to deepen your spiritual practice, go pro with your readings/coaching sessions, achieve short and long-term goals, or gain real-life advice  in joining the psychic hotlines, Poised to Leap has something for you! You can start and stop your membership at any time.

Get ready to have a partner who celebrates you and your successes. I am invested in your learning and your success, so don’t delay, I keep the group size low and spots are limited, particularly at the Cosmic Seer and Moon Dancer level.
