I like to share my process of doing these mysterious circumstance readings with you.

This video is part card analysis and part reading, as we ask ourselves: Are police searching in the right spot with this latest search of the suspect’s former property? I timestamped the video on the newest reading I did, asking if police are searching in the right spot – did they find anything? Will this search benefit the investigation down the line?

On a cold, rainy night in Shelby, North Carolina, a little girl named Asha left the warmth of her home with a packed backpack and set out into the night, being seen as late as 2:30 in the morning walking along Route 18. A few passersby mentioned seeing her and even a couple turned around to see if she needed help, but she darted into the woods. The mystery of what caused Asha to leave home and ultimately what happened to her has confounded those close to her and the investigation for a long time. However, recently there has been a big break in the case after 24 years.

Her family has always held out hope that she may still be alive, but police have recently indicated they believe Asha was murdered. DNA on some of her items has linked her to a house near where she was last seen. Two people have been identified as having a DNA link to her items and the mysterious green vehicle that was thought to have been seen on the night Asha went missing was towed away from the Dedmon residence. Two suspects have also been officially named, but DNA does not tie them…or are does it?

There are still big questions that remain and we are going to explore them during a multi-video series for Asha’s case. This is a sprawling cold case and I decided to break up the readings and create its own playlist. As updates come about, we may do future readings beyond what I embark on this week. It should be noted that everyone mentioned in these videos is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law and please bear that in mind when leaving comments.

I am continuing the exploration of what happened to Kei’mani from an energetic and spiritual perspective. The next set of readings will be focusing on the closest parental influences in her life: The “Dad,” her biological mother, and her custodial grandmother.

In the next three episodes, we are looking at the accused “father” to see what was going on with him. Was he capable of doing this? Had he done something like this before? What were his relationships like with the other parental figures in Kei’mani’s life? What is next for him? All of this is discussed and more in the next three episodes.

3:45 PM AST 3/25/2025 UPDATE: A body has reportedly been found stashed in an abandoned, dilapidated building and it is presumed to be Kei’mani. Conflicting reports are coming in that Darnell Jones, the dad, either took his own life or was arrested – seriously – we cannot get real-time, accurate information in this case. My sincerest condolences go out to her loved ones and the community.

Kei’mani was allegedly last seen by her father and his cousin at 12:30 AM on March 18, 2025. According to her Dad, Kei’Mani had reached out to him, expressing she was scared. It is unclear if after he left, she was by herself. It is also unclear when the grandmother last saw Kei’mani. There are unconfirmed reports of neighbors having surveillance cameras facing the entrance and backside of the house where she lives with her maternal, custodial grandmother. The surveillance videos did show her dad arriving at the home but did not show her leaving it. Her grandmother allegedly worked a 12-hour, late night Factory shift job and did not come home until around 10 AM on March 18th. She reported smelling gas from the stove and turned it off. Kei’mani was not there and cell phone calls were going straight to voicemail. Kei’mani’s grandmother called the school and it was then she realized that Kei’mani was missing. From there, a missing person’s report was filed.

This is where it gets dicey – there are a LOT of conflicting stories about who is related to who, who has this or that in their criminal history, and accusations are already flying. On March 23, 2025, Kei’mani’s dad Darnell had a warrant issued for his arrest for the alleged abduction of Kei’Mani. He has not yet been apprehended at the time of this recording. We do not know what is the truth at this point and police have not made public statements or given pressers on this case. What we are looking for is an insight into what happened, who is responsible for the disappearance, why the police are accusing her father of abducting her, clues on where she may be, and what’s coming up next in the search for Kei’mani. We have a LOT to dive into, let’s get started.

Katia Duenas-Aguilar | MAJOR UPDATE | A Lookback | Cards Analysis | Mystery Mystic Musings | Ep. 69

You may not know much about this case, but it is a disturbing one and disturbing details are emerging at the time of this recording. We are revisiting a previously covered case and analyzing the cards that came up in the past readings.

Private First Class (PFC) Katia Duenas-Aguilar, age 23, homicide victim, was originally from Mesquite, Texas, and was currently living in Tennessee, but stationed at Fort Campbell, in Kentucky. She’s the single mom of a 4-year-old son. She was a decorated soldier and worked as an IT specialist for the Army. On May 18, 2024, her body was found in her Tennessee home, which was 6.6 miles from the army base. Her autopsy was released a few days ago and revealed she was stabbed 68 times.

Katia was found by a friend in her locked bedroom and an ambulance was called at 8:33 PM. Much of her wounds were concentrated at the neck, chest, head, and shoulder. Toxicology reports revealed she had a blood alcohol level of 0.161 and traces of GHB in her system.

A True Crime Tarot Reader Rant | Toeing the Line of Exploitation

True crime readings can be rewarding work and help families get the word about their missing or deceased loved one. There are instances when they provide insights in whereabouts or what happened, while other times offering peace to friends and loved ones. As such, channelers, diviners, mediums, psychics, and readers walk a fine line with being of service and exploitation.

It can be easy to slip off that line, but ethical readers know to always stay grounded and knowing their “why” in doing these types of readings. Is the “why” to bring awareness or enlighten or to gain likes and views? How much is too much to reveal about what happened to a deceased person? What if a missing person took their own life? We have to aim to use discernment on what and how much to share to the viewing audience about a case.

One thing I did not discuss in this video is there have been a couple of instances when a person who may be in “the know” or involved in a death or disappearance makes their way to my channel to watch the reading and even leave a comment. My intuition just knows. I have to be mindful of my safety, too.

Then there is the energetic heavy lifting of doing true crime readings. I have to be mindful of how delicate I say certain things about what I am seeing in the cards because loved ones are watching. Lastly, many people have their own opinions and email me or leave a comment under the video.

All of this is having to be managed when I consider taking on a case to do a reading and this is why I do not always accept or do high profile cases. I also do like helping families with limited resources with my readings.

That’s where I’m at with true crime and missing persons’ readings – checking in to see how I FEEL about still doing them and why I started in the first place.

No matter what you do you do in this life – check in and see where you’re at with it. Does it still align with your values? Is it time for a shift? Or, are things just right?

I am still in the contemplation and meditation phase of seeing how I feel about continuing doing true crime readings. I may only do them when I am fully called to a particular case, which may not always be a frequent thing on the channel. Or, I may take a break, or decide on a longer hiatus.
