This is a crime that has puzzled and confounded us for 28 years. When most people were sleeping soundly in Boulder, CO, on Christmas night in 1996, there was a nightmare unfolding in the Ramsey home. JonBenet Ramsey, age 6, was reported missing on 12/25/96 and found 7 hours later in the basement of the family home. A long, detailed ransom note was left behind and there was suspicion that Patsy Ramsey wrote it with the help of her husband, John – but they vehemently denied they were responsible for it. JonBenet’s older brother, Burke, was nine years old at the time and also fell under suspicion of causing her death. In 2003, DNA trace evidence was taken from JonBenet’s clothes and it was found to belong to an unknown male. Each family member’s DNA was excluded from the sample.

There have been questions on how Boulder Police handled and investigated this case. The District Attorney fully exonerated the parents after this DNA revelation, but some still feel this is not enough to let the family members off the hook. This was a wealthy family and JonBenet was a pageant beauty, following in the footsteps of her mother, Patsy. Patsy died in 2006 after a cancer battle and John is still advocating for his daughter to receive justice. A Netflix documentary has dropped today, November 25th and I have yet to watch it. If you have watched it, let us know if any of the cards that come up in this reading touches on what came up. I know of this case, but not the nuanced details or theories – which is good for this reading. Let’s see what Spirit wants to reveal to us about who is responsible for JonBenet’s death and what will come of the investigation.

This reading was recorded on Monday, October 28, 2024.

Maura disappeared on the evening of February 9, 2004, after a car crash on Route 112, near Woodsville, New Hampshire, which is a village in the town of Haverhill. She was a nursing student at the University of Massachusetts Amherst at the time of her disappearance. In November 2003, three months before her disappearance, Maura admitted to using a stolen credit card to order food from several restaurants. The criminal charge was to be dismissed after three months of good behavior. Maura experienced emotional stress four days prior to her disappearance, after speaking with her sister. Her sister had just been discharged from rehab for alcoholism and had relapsed. Two days before her disappearance, she borrowed her father’s Toyota Corolla and struck a guardrail, causing $10,000 (equivalent to $16,100 in 2023) in damage to the vehicle. No field sobriety test was taken.

On February 9th, Maura used Mapquest for driving directions to the Berkshires and Burlington, Vermont. At 1:24 PM, Maura emailed the nursing school faculty work supervisor that she would be out of town for a week due to a death in the family. There was no death, though – she made that up. She packed clothing, toiletries, textbooks, and birth control pills in her car. When her room was later searched, it was discovered she had packed up most of her belongings in boxes and the artwork removed from the walls. On top of the boxes, was a printed email to her boyfriend, indicating there may have been trouble in their relationship. Classes at the University had been canceled due to a snowstorm.

Maura drove her black 1996 Saturn sedan to the ATM and withdrew $280, and CCTV showed she was alone. At a nearby liquor store, she purchased about $40 worth of alcoholic beverages and she was alone per the security footage at the time of the purchase. No one knew exactly where she was headed on February 9th. Sometime after 7 PM, a Woodsville resident heard a loud bump and noticed Maura’s vehicle up against a snowbank. Another motorist stopped and noticed Maura was cold and shivering, but didn’t appear to be injured. By 7:46 PM, the police arrived at the scene, but Maura was not there. It was reported that at a hairpin turn, she went off the road and hit a tree.

There are theories as to what happened to Maura. I have intentionally not reviewed them, as I want to see where the cards lead me during the reading. We have a lot to dive into with this case. Let’s get started.

On a cold, rainy night in Shelby, North Carolina, a little girl named Asha left the warmth of her home with a packed backpack and set out into the night, being seen as late as 2:30 in the morning walking along Route 18. A few passersby mentioned seeing her and even a couple turned around to see if she needed help, but she darted into the woods. The mystery of what caused Asha to leave home and ultimately what happened to her has confounded those close to her and the investigation for a long time. However, recently there has been a big break in the case after 24 years.

Her family has always held out hope that she may still be alive, but police have recently indicated they believe Asha was murdered. DNA on some of her items has linked her to a house near where she was last seen. Two people have been identified as having a DNA link to her items and the mysterious green vehicle that was thought to have been seen on the night Asha went missing was towed away from the Dedmon residence. Two suspects have also been officially named, but DNA does not tie them…or are does it?

There are still big questions that remain and we are going to explore them during a multi-video series for Asha’s case. This is a sprawling cold case and I decided to break up the readings and create its own playlist. As updates come about, we may do future readings beyond what I embark on this week. It should be noted that everyone mentioned in these videos is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law and please bear that in mind when leaving comments.

Unsolved Mysteries Volume 5 will feature the unsolved murders of Carnell, age 40, and Katherine, age 33, who arrived at the Rocky River Reservation Park in Fairview Park, OH. Both met at a pull-off lot north of the Lorrain Road Bridge. Carnell and Katherine were shot in the head while sitting on a bench alongside the river. Katherine tried to go towards the water and was shot once, and her body fell towards the river’s edge. Carnell was shot multiple times in the head.

This attack was brazen as it took place a little after 5 PM in a place where passersby were around. The Police and FBI have been investigating, but there are no named suspects and no arrests have been made. We will do this opening Oracle reading now to get a pulse on the energies surrounding why this happened and who did this to Carnell and Katherine.

After the Unsolved Mysteries episode airs, I will then come back to the reading table for a detailed Tarot reading, asking specific questions that arise after hearing potential theories. My sincerest condolences go out to the loved ones of Carnell and Katherine and I pray for justice. Let’s get started.

Cheretha, age 38, was 3 months pregnant at the time of her disappearance on Feb. 26, 2021. It was reported she was arguing with someone on the phone the day before she went missing. She was last seen when she dropped off her daughter at Earle Elementary School in the Englewood neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois on Friday morning, and she never returned to pick up her child from school that day, which was totally unlike her. She was also due to meet her adult-aged son that day and his calls went unanswered by Cheretha. Her silver Porsche Cayenne SUV was found abandoned 21 miles away from her home, in Rogers Park, in a tow zone with a crowbar, money, and a jacket on the passenger seat. Relatives went to her house and noticed her apartment’s doors were open. 

The father of Cheretha’s young daughter and her unborn child has a lengthy criminal history. He is also married. He was incarcerated when she went missing, yet there are no records to establish this as a fact. The incarceration records indicate he was locked up on June 3, 2021. There was a domestic dispute between Cheretha and this man, then later between her and his wife.

These readings delve into what happened to Cheretha and why. We received answers on what transpired on the day she went missing and looked into who is responsible for her disappearance.

Highlights about this Mystery Mystic Monday Reading:

Amanda Antoni’s mysterious death was featured in the latest season of Unsolved Mysteries. The title of the episode is “Body in the Basement.” Amanda was found dead in a pool of blood in the basement of her Calgary home on October 26, 2015. Was it homicide or could it have been a freak accident? Police initially thought an intruder could have pushed her down the stairs or caused her to fall. After it was discovered there was a lack of DNA evidence or prints from someone other than Amanda, police are now theorizing she could have fallen down the stairs, striking her head on a piggy bank that sat on the stair’s ledge, and then due to the nasty wound to her head, she was too delirious to make it back up the stairs.

Her husband was cleared of involvement and no other suspects have been identified. Her husband was the last one to speak to her on Saturday and when he returned from a trip, he discovered her body on Monday. Police described it as the bloodiest scene they’d ever seen. Nevertheless, in December 2016, Calgary police ruled her death accidental as a result of a fall downstairs, despite evidence of violence.

The question we have today is was this a tragic freak accident or something more sinister caused by someone else? If someone else, clues on who it may be?

Sigrid Stevenson, a 25-year-old graduate student, was attending Trenton State College (presently The College of New Jersey) in 1977 and was tragically violently beaten in the school’s Kendall Hall. Her body was found on stage next to the piano she adored playing when she was alive. The perpetrator left no prints. There were signs of SA and restraint markings. It was believed she was spending the night in the dark hall ahead of school coming back into session because she was waiting for her dorm to become available when school resumed for the fall semester. No suspects have ever been named in the brutal death of Sigrid.

One officer joked that he took Sigrid’s life, but he passed a polygraph test and the police stopped looking at this individual as a potential suspect. Police also looked at a man named Chuck. He played an officer in a play at Kendall Hall shortly before Sigrid was killed, however, DNA did not connect Chuck to the murder and he died in 2016. Other persons of interest by a cold-case investigator included a light crew member and a campus maintenance worker.

Sigrid is said to haunt Kendall Hall, as students have claimed that place has been haunted since her tragic passing. Slamming doors and other mysterious phenomena have been mentioned by those who have spent time in Kendall Hall.

We already know how and where she died, but what we’d like to explore more today is who did it and why. We are looking for clues to see who was responsible for this heinous attack on Sigrid.

▪️She considered the perp a friend or a trustworthy person.
▪️She witnessed a personality change and decided to stay in Kendall Hall.
▪️The perp was affiliated or associated with the University.
▪️The perp wanted more from her than she was willing to give.
▪️The DNA evidence and a family connection could be the key to solving this case.
▪️Someone helped the perp by providing an alibi or covering up the crime.
▪️It is important to look at her associations in the month preceding the crime.
▪️Someone attempted to change their appearance but never went too far away.
▪️A key witness, the main perp, or the helper could be deceased.

The Death card could mean there was a pact between the main perp and the helper – sworn to secrecy. But, the guilt did and does eat away and could motivate someone to come forward. For now, we wait.

We are exploring the energies surrounding the mysterious death of nineteen-year-old Noah Presgrove. He was found naked and badly beaten on the side of Highway 81 outside of Terral, Oklahoma, early on September 4, 2023. The State authorities are not investigating his death as a murder at this time. He sustained extensive injuries – a split skull, fractured spine, and more. His autopsy revealed he died of blunt force trauma, but his manner of death is still unknown. What’s in question is whether or not he died as a result of an accident or homicide.

Before Noah died, he was partying with friends over the Labor Day weekend, not far from where his body was found on Highway 81 in Terral, Oklahoma. He was naked and on his back, with a couple of teeth lying next to his body. He was only wearing mismatched shoes and a pair of white printed shorts were nearby that showed no “observable damage.” There was blood, but not as much as one expects following someone with those types of injuries. The autopsy does state Noah’s body suffered some road rash-like damage. There was no vehicle debris left at the scene either, which would indicate a possible hit-and-run.
