This is a US Games Systems Tarot deck, available through the publisher’s site or through other major retailers when it is released. Amazon has it set to be released May 31, 2025. Hello! Despite this deck being out of print, I decided to share this unboxing with you good folks anyway. The creator decided to retire this deck and made the decision to never print it again. Sometimes, we move on from the things we create.

I recall Lorina saying when she created this deck, she was in a dark place and now is in a much better place in her life. I can respect that. There is very little information about the creator, although she did co-create the Simplicities Tarot with other creators. That being said, I adore this deck. I still have and use it to this day.

Here’s an unboxing of the Good Karma Tarot, created by Kerry Ward, artwork by Amy Blackwell, published by Oh! This is a mass market produced deck and at time of recording, available in Barnes and Nobles.

This is a deck that called to me and I figured out why. It has a quiet, unobtrusive, yet sweet voice to share in its messages. To prepare for its arrival, I asked my favorite deck if The Good Karma Tarot would be a good fit for my collection and I got a resounding “yes” from my trusty Tarot cards that I pose such questions. This deck is diverse, bright, modern, and has rich symbolism that speaks to new and seasoned readers. 

The guidebook shines, as it offers talismans for us to explore, spreads galore, and tips on how to read the Tarot in a storytelling format. This deck and guidebook is certainly one to check out, as it offers something for all of us. And yes, the card stock is glossy, but I have shuffled it a handful of times and I believe it will weather many readings.
