I unbox The Afro Goddess Tarot Arcanas 1st Edition deck, by Andrea Furtick, and let’s just say, this deck has instantly become a soul deck for me. With its glossy black backings (be sure to check out the shape of Africa on the back of the card!), its matte fronts, and the gorgeous, bright images – you can’t help but to fall in love with the visual presentation. The clam shell box is also matte and the guidebook fits perfectly inside the box. The guidebook also has a nice, matte texture and it is packed with great information on spreads and the card meanings.
I missed the Kickstarter campaign for this deck, but I am ever so glad I was able to get my hands on this lovely first edition. I have used this deck at least a dozen times since purchasing it, and it has not once disappointed in the accuracy of readings and the quality of the cards.
