  1. Right now, an edge of my desk is my altar. I’ve stopped working on work at my desk and only do journaling and readings and workings there so I suppose in a sense the whole desk in my altar. I usually have my weekly cards pulled on display.

    Since I rarely do readings for others aside from bringing a deck or two to one of my weekly yoga classes I teach I don’t have decks specific to my altar right now. I do have 6-8 that are more readily accessible at my desk and the rest are in a basket/drawer that takes more effort. I tend to swap out every month or two, often using my pendulum to help me decide which decks I need to work with in the weeks ahead. Right now I have out Tarot Fauna (my focus deck for this month to try create a deeper connection), Mystical Shaman, Spirit Animal, Work Your Light, The Universe Has Your Back, Native Spirit, Queen of the Moon, Spirit de La Lune, and The Moon Deck. I feel like most of them I still need to create a deeper intuitive connection with. I think I’ve bought too many decks at a time trying to make the most of shipping costs or sales.

    I’ve had my eye on Soul Trees for almost a year. I too am a big tree person. I have a great affinity for the Willow but love them all. I’m also contemplating Healers of the Earth. It just speaks to my shamanic training heart. I think I’d go with the borderless edition. That may be what I do with birthday money next month.

    I’d love to hear/see more about the deck interviews. I’ve tried the spread Little Red Tarot posted for new decks a few times. But I think there is a lot to be learned from seeing the pulls and the interpretations in addition to the spread.

    I’m starting to think I need to start filming and doing VRs to your videos my comments are novels, LOL!

    I’m being called to do some ancestor work so need to find a space for an ancestor altar somewhere. I’m curious if you have a deck you’d recommend for ancestral or even past life healing work?
