I’ve been working with Moonology half-heartedly for about a year. Then in September I started using the information to create my own planner pages. I note the phase, sign and house of the moon and the general themes. It is amazing to see how often the cards are in alignment! This month I’ve been diving deeper into connecting with my Centennial RWS in a Tin, I worked with The Gaian Tarot for my weekly draw and used that draw to inform the oracle deck for the week. I did work a bit more with the Work Your Light Oracle and really enjoyed it. I even graduated my weekly chakra-themed Aromatherapy Flow yoga class to draw one in addition to a Universe Has Your Back affirmation card. Eventually I’ll introduce them to tarot, lol! Or at least some of them.
For crystals I carried a hunk of selenite and a hunk of black tourmaline with me most of the time. Towards the end of the month I added moonstone and lepidolite to a lavender scented bag that I tucked under my pillow. And I did a ten minute or so meditation or self-reiki depending on what I felt I needed holding a rose quartz and mookaite jasper in my receptive hand before falling asleep to restore my own energy and align me better with the circadian rhythms of nature. I forgot the last couple nights and slept poorly so I’m going to get back on that train 🙂
Congratulations on graduating from your chakra themed-Aromatherapy Floy yoga class (that sounds AMAZING!)!! I have a hunch that some of your fellow classmates may be open to some tarot.
There was little fanfare for the Moonology deck and I was a little underwhelmed by it when I first got it. Then when I started finding specific uses on how to incorporate it into my practice, then it shined. Sounds like you had a similar experience with it, too. You can’t go wrong with the pretty Centennial. I wish I had it in the tin – I have the regular sized version.
Oh, I saw a beautiful piece of tourmaline my friend got from the gem faire this weekend – big as her hand and meaty, lol. I instantly could feel its energy.
You are speaking to my heart right now about the crystals and your crystal/reiki/meditation healing practices! I’m going to try a little lepidolite, moonstone and a tiny piece of lavender (once I tried to sleep with too much lavender) tip.
I feel so blessed to have met you! Thanks so much for sharing with me!
