I am excited to report I have received my very first KickStarter backed deck, The Numinous Tarot, created by Noel Arthur Heimpel. It truly is a beautiful deck. It shuffles like a dream, even with gilded edges. Both of my sons asked for readings last night and both said they were spot on accurate. This deck is fun to read with and accessible right now for even the newest of tarot readers. It is not your typical RWS deck, but it is inspired by the iconic Tarot system.
What I appreciate most about this deck is the diversity and love that was infused in every card and every word of that guidebook. We get the whole gamut of diverse skin tones, abilities, genders (or non-binary, as it may be), shapes, and ages.
Despite facing health and life challenges, Noel still kept their promise to get the decks out as timely as possible. I have heard some recent unsavory stories on KickStarter deck campaigns and feel very fortunate that my package was safely and quickly shipped to me.
The deck offers good card stock and gilded edges, with a glossy finish. There are 79 cards, which includes a bonus major arcana card titled The Numinous.

Crystals Video Series: Part 2 | Deck in Focus: The Crystal Wisdom Healing Oracle Deck Creator: Judy Hall
It took me a good while to settle on a crystals oracle, as there are so many beautiful ones to choose from. I chose the Crystal Wisdom Healing Oracle because Judy Hall is a heavy hitter crystals expert and I trusted her knowledge of the attributes and properties of each stone she referenced in her deck.
I appreciate how the photos displays the entire stone, so that we can see its texture and shape, which I feel is important with a crystals oracle deck. I am not a fan of the crystal oracles that shows only the color of the stone or superimpose the stone on the card so that you can barely discern what it is.
The card meanings resonate with me and the messages I receive from these cards are accurate. They either depict the energies of what’s going on, or prescribes the stone that is necessary to bring about healing in your situation.
Each week, I pull a card and set it on my altar. It provides inspiration for me and if I happen to have the stone featured in the photo, I place it on my altar or I carry it with me for a few days.

This deck is one that surprised me, in its beauty and the ease of reading with it. This is a good beginner’s deck for those just starting out in Tarot. The vibrant, rich colors even have meaning. Although the lines appears rudimentary, the depth of the artwork is surprisingly complex and worthy of fine art status.
The only critique I have is the knights – I wish they were drawn to appear in motion for the swords and wands (all of the knights and their horses appear to be stationary, which is contradictory to their RWS meanings). A beautiful deck to work with this Spring.

Hi Friends! Okay, I have been awaiting this day for a long time – to take a closer look at a near and dear deck to me – the Dear Heart Oracle by Cristin Chambers of PanArt.
Many of you have seen me use this deck often and that’s because I use it in both personal and client readings and it is my GO TO for most all readings. It is uncanningly accurate my intuition runs wild with Cristin’s beautiful images.
I’ve had the first edition, which I purchased on Etsy for the longest time. The only reason I haven’t done a deck review on this lovely was because it went out of print and I did not think it would be nice to discuss a deck that most would never be able to get their hands on – until now. I received a prototpye of the 2nd Edition and there are 3 bonus cards that were created just for this print run – so lucky souls, you get a little more than the first edition deck holders.
Cristin is hard at work on a 2nd Edition and I highly encourage you to check out her lovely Instagram and to get yourself a copy of this special deck once it is released.
