This is the first part in a series I am doing on my deck collection. As I broke down each category of my decks, I realized I did not have as many as I thought I had – which is a huge blessing! I only have a small collection of Australian created decks, but the ones I do have are abundantly loved and regularly in my reading rotation. Part 1 Weekly General Reading for November 6th:

Hi there~My apologies for the scratchy, low voice – it was the end of the day, my voice was raw and I was trying to whisper on top of that. I almost scrapped the whole video and only included Tina’s reading – but there were so many juicy nuggets Spirit had to say, that I had to share the video. For next week’s video, I’ll be sure to do the weekly general reading during the day, when my voice is not as deep and raspy.

This week will be a focus on what is in our spirit to do on this physical plane. For many of us, we will start to see the fruits of our labor of love this week.

We need to let go of the thoughts that no longer serve our higher purpose. This week we have the opportunity to delve deep inside of ourselves, to tap into what we love about this life and what we want to do, and then to finally start to see the physical manifestations of following our purpose.

“Nothing is impossible.”

I decided to do a follow up weekly general reading for this week, and more insight was given by Spirit on facing our fears this week, expanding our perception of what our dreams can actually become, and experiencing loving connections in the week ahead. I am so grateful I was inspired to do another reading this week.

Tina’s reading was a general forecast of her love life now and what is going on in the next few months. Spirit asks Tina to focus on the what, why, how, and who we are seeking love. Tina has a little homework to do, but once she does, love will abound for her.

Sacred Traveler Oracle Cards Unboxing

I unboxed Denise Linn’s Sacred Traveler Oracle Deck this week and must say that I am impressed. This 52 card deck and guidebook, published by Hay House, artwork by Nick C. Welch and Jesse Reisch, is a deck that really does give you signs or messages that you are moving in the right direction. The box is matte, as are the cards. The cards are standard Hay House sized and shuffles nicely. There were a few small knicks on a couple of the backs of the cards, but I can live with them.

I’ve owned Sacred Traveler since Halloween, which was two days ago, and already I’ve played with it multiple times. It is that good. The guidebook has several spreads and lists the card meanings alphabetically. The guidebook’s message has a black and white representation at the top of the page, epigraph, the card’s meaning, and what does the Sacred Traveler want you to know. Let’s just the cards are predictive and most definitely prescriptive. Right out of the box I was able to start playing with them, even without consulting the enchanting guidebook.

I must admit, I got a little carried away in October with all of my favorite crystals, decks, and books – so you may need to grab a nice cup of coffee or tea, settle in and enjoy the ride with me :-).

Selenite, in rough and smooth form, and clear, white, or peach, were used throughout the month of October.

I went to the library and picked up Confessions of Tarot Reader by Jane Stern and Beyond the Celtic Cross: Secret techniques for taking Tarot to an exciting new level.

I used a good portion of my tarot and oracle collection in readings for others this month. My Mildred Payne’s Secret Pocket Oracle is surprising me with its deeply rich readings and insight. Many more decks mentioned are mentioned in the Favorites video.

Oct 30th Weekly General Reading~Alchemic Balance to Achieving Love

What was abundantly clear in the reading was how the love we want is already here and available to us, but we have to be ready to receive it. We’ve been in a place of protecting our hearts, to the point of blocking out some of the blessings trying to reach us. This week, we are invited to move to a new way of being in all of aspects and degrees of love.

Postcards from Spirit Follow Up Impressions

On October 12th, I posted the unboxing of the Postcards from Spirit, created by Colette Baron-Reid, artwork by Jena DellaGrottaglia, and cover design by Tricia Breidenthal. I promised to do a follow up video after I played with the deck. After daily play, I have to say it is indeed a unique, beautiful deck and I will continue to divine with it.

Knock out any preconceived notions you have about what you think this deck is  about and go into this new relationship with an open mind. Some decks are hard to define what exactly they are, as is the case with Postcards. Prior to receiving the cards, I thought this was a deck about connecting with souls that have transitioned and who are trying to say special messages about life in general from the other side. This deck is somewhat along those lines, only these messages are directly for the seeker. Spirit is whomever you wish – past on family members, God, angels and guides.

I have been asking for general guidance for the day or around a specific situation, as in the case of a work related issue. I made a few mistakes yesterday at work and luckily brought Postcards with me that day. I shuffled the cards, drew one and was comforted by words of wisdom from my ancestors, by way of Colette’s warm, but direct messages. I was able to gain new perspective instantly on the situation.

My final words on this deck is if you are called to get it, there’s a reason. Several months ago I was intrigued enough to pre-order the deck and based on the messages I’ve been receiving, know that I made the right decision to buy Postcards from Spirit.
